Introduction: Bile ducts hamartoma (von Meyenburg complexes) is a common but unknown pathology of the liver. It can lead to widening bile ducts. usually detected incidentally in asymptomatic patients. There are indications transformation into duct cancer or hepatocellular carcinoma.Aim study: The aim study draw attention little known, - von complexes and sensitize medical professionals implications it may cause during diagnostic process.Material methods: We conducted case study. research material was patient's history.Case report: A 60-year-old man came Gastrology Clinic due chronic epigastric pain tenderness navel area. Colonoscopy ruled out large intestine. After six months, worsened. result gastroscopy allowed diagnosis gastritis, which probably problem. abdominal ultrasound showed suspicion renal cell carcinoma right kidney, neoplastic process excluded on basis computed tomography. In same study, for first time, numerous minor hypodense lesions liver were detected. final made magnetic resonance cholangiography, where disseminated, T2 hyperintense cystic areas described. This suggested biliary scythe.Conclusions: Despite occurrence hamartoma, important remember about possible malignant neoplasm. should be considered differential disseminated lesions. Patients treated symptomatically.
